Stuart was a good friend of mine. I painted his portrait in 2007. Because of his connection with the Spanish resistance in the 60’s against the Franco regime, I included the poster ‘No hey Justicia sin Democracica’ with the garotte in the background and his book, ‘My Granny made me an Anarchist’, which had just been published in Spanish that year.
